I believe in the law of attraction and through my social networks I attract some fantastic personalities. Today when a friend sent me a screen shot of a photo and caption from NBA player Dwyane Wade of his #WCW and fiancé Gabrielle Union my jaw dropped. I questioned if I was overreacting. Were my ideals too strong? Am I being obtuse and unforgiving? I didn't think twice about surveying the gent and ladies on my Instagram feed!
My question is do you find this flattering? When you decipher his caption he is basically saying "I cheated on my first wife with you, and then I cheated on you and had a baby and you stayed.
There were three ways people took this:
1. This is unflattering.
2. It was thoughtful and honest.
3. Thou shall not judge.
I can see everyone's view point on this topic and where they see good in Dwyane's gesture. We all deserve love and adoration. I applaud that part of it, but it still seems a little sideways. Like maybe love has made it too easy for him to make these mistakes. Are we seeing an example of unconditional love being taken for granted? It was a lot to process. Especially with the recent trend of men making "on break" babies. Is the life of a newborn becoming less cared about than your WCW?
